You might have seen this account. That account is run by me. It is an account I made for Nika, one of my paras. In maladaptive daydreaming, a para is a character who reöccurs in daydreams and can feel vivid or even somewhat autonomous, but is not a separate sentient person. I use this account to communicate through the character as a medium, and retell my experiences through her lens. However, I do not use this account to speak, for example, about her experience with conflict or living in Novorossia and Nyria, as those are fictional events in fictional places. I may use this account to talk about psychology, aromanticism, or other parts of me that are present in the character and I feel are better told through her lens. This account is not meant to pretend to be a completely different real person. Anything I say on that account is really my experience, just told through a para. In simple words: What goes on the account—shared experiences between me the real person and Nika the para/character. What does not go on the account—written experiences or background that only apply to the para, or anything specific to Celsys/her fictional world.
